It is a five minute scenic walk to the Village, shops, pubs and restaurants. Baltimore is a picturesque lively Village . It's population soars during the Summer time. With it's sailing club and two sailing schools as well as two diving schools, it is renowned as a water sports centre. Private boat hire facilities are available at the pier.
Swimming pool /leisure centre in Village. (check out Baltimore) Baltimore is the main point of departure for ferries to the unique Carbery Islands. Ferries leave several times daily to Cape Clear and Sherkin Island with its two lovely Sandy beaches.
Ferry time to Sherkin 10 min. beach 15 min walk. Ferry trips to Fastnet lighthouse with dolphin watching. Sea swimming 2 minutes from house.
