The village is about 10km from the E75 motorway which runs from Thessaloniki to Athens making it easy to reach Delphi, Meteora etc. The Pelion peninsula is also not far away just the other side of Volos. Amaliapolis is also only 25km from the airport at Nea Anchialos (Volos Airport/the airport of Central Greece)which now has flights with Ryanair and Air Berlin among others.
