This cosy cottage is situated in the heart of the Andalusian countryside, on the edge of the Grazalema Nature Park and in an area of outstanding beauty, surrounded by mountains and overlooking the lake of Zahara. It is the perfect place to relax and admire the wonderful views from the cottage terrace or the swimming pool. Although the cottage is secluded, it has excellent access and is only 5 kms. from the charming village of El Gastor (one of the "white villages" of Cadiz), and close to picturesque villages such as Zahara de la Sierra and larger towns like Ronda and Jerez.
The property stands on a finca measuring 50,000 square metres and is ideal for guests seeking somewhere quiet where they can chill out. The owners, Pepe and Mary, also live on the finca in their own house and, whilst respecting their guests' privacy, they will be pleased to help with information or advice. Nature lovers will appreciate the abundance of wildlife here, providing birdwatchers with the unique opportunity to observe Griffon vultures and many different birds of prey soaring overhead.
The property sleeps 4 people and comprises 2 bedrooms (one with double bed and the other with 2 single beds), one en-suite bathroom with shower, wash-basin and WC and another bathroom with WC and wash-basin.
It has an attractive, fully equipped, kitchen/diner and a cosy lounge with a colour TV, a wood-burning stove, CD and DVD players and internet access. Electric oil heaters are provided in winter and fans in the summer.
The cottage has its own 8 x 4 metre private, filtered pool with sun-loungers and a pergola which provides shade on hot days. The property itself is surrounded by ample terraces with garden furniture. Just a few metres from the cottage, guests can sit at a picnic bench and admire the panoramic view over the El Gastor-Zahara lake and the Grazalema mountains. Watching the sun set behind the lake is an unforgettable experience.
A car is essential.
