The Carob Cottage is one of the newer apartment cottages available and the sunniest of the 4 accommodations available. It is a peaceful relaxing hideaway and a mirror image of the Lemon Cottage also available at the Quintential and is adjacent to the Lemon Cottage. The Carob Cottage is a light and airy one bedroom apartment cottage ideal for couples or families with a small child.
The bedroom is large with a double bed, and is also large enough to accommodate a child’s single sofa bed or cot. There is a digital security safe, sloping ceilings & patio doors leading on to the southfacing sun terrace. The bedroom is tasteFully decorated to very high standard in vibrant colours, beautiful throw and crisp bed linen to compliment the décor. The bedroom also has a free standing fan and a 19 Inch Toshiba LCD TV with DVD player and video recorder (small selection of videos available).
The Carob Cottage has a modern bathroom with shower, washbasin with vanity unit under, bidet, WC and shaver point.
The spacious open plan kitchen lounge/diner is decorated tasteFully and has a large comfy leather sofa and is simple yet lacks nothing. The lounge has a 32 Inch Samsung flat screen LCD TV Satellite TV (UK free to view channels), DVD player (small selection of DVDs available) and a mini stereo HiFi with radio/CD player and MP3 reader (guests to bring own CD’s). There is a large selection of English Reading books, puzzles, chess set and playing cards. There are patio doors leading onto a private southfacing terrace with a table and chairs, reclining chairs and your own Brick built BBQ. You will easily enjoy the sun on this terrace into late evening.
The kitchenette is modern and comed Fully equipped and comprises of a fridge with freezer compartment, combi microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, coffee filter machine, hand held electric blender and electric hob.
The Carob Cottage also has the added benefit of gas central heating for those cooler Winter months. The price for the heating is already included in the tariff. Details of the set heating times will be provided at the time of booking enquiry.
The Carob Cottage sleeps a maximum of two adults and a child.
The Quintential has a large heated pool area; the pool measures 10 x 5 m and sun loungers, parasols etc are provided for the use of the guests. There is also a large raised sun deck poolside to soak up the glorious sun and a freestanding hot tub spa jacuzzi for guest use, especially Nice under the stars and moonlight. The pool is heated during the cooler months from 1st October until 30th April and there is no additional charge for heating the pool.
Children are welcome at the Quintential and there is a children’s play area with swings, slide, and seesaw all alongside an Orange grove. For those guests that are a little more energetic, there is also an outdoor games area with a professional size table tennis table, table football, snooker/pool table, an exercise bike and a 12ft trampoline with a safety enclosure. For families travelling with small children, we can provide a whole host of baby equipment free of charge, being parents ourselves, we know what it is like travelling with little ones, and our aim is make everyone’s Holiday an enjoyable memorable experience, not stressful.
On arrival at the Quintential the owners will meet you and awaiting your arrival in your accommodation will be a welcome hamper, compliments of the house for guest staying a week or more. For all our adult guests bathrobes are provided for use during your stay. Pool towels are also provided for the use of our guests, but guests are asked to bring their own beach towels, and in all the accommodations there are hairdryers, alarm clocks, iron and ironing boards.
The Quintential is an oasis of peace and tranquillity perched high on a hilltop 1200 feet above Sea Level totally fenced and accessed via electric gates overlooking the market town of Loule, only 10 minutes from the blue flag beaches of the Algarve and world famous golf courses and a 15 minute drive from Faro International airport. The Quintential Self Catering Holiday Apartment Cottages are a small family run cluster of self catering Holiday accommodations catering for couples, families and the over 50’s. The accommodations are Fully licensed meeting to all requirements by the Portuguese rental law with the required Alojamento Local licence (AL).
The Quintential is open all year round so that guests can enjoy the 3000 hours of sunshine the Algarve has to offer. We understand that with low cost airlines it may be better to travel on days other than Sunday or Thursday, so we are flexible with our arrival and departure days. Our minimum booking is for three nights.
